Dr. Julian Marchetti
Founding Surgeon
MD, FACS · Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon
Twenty-two years of facial and breast surgery. Julian founded Lumière to slow the consultation down — he still schedules a full hour with every new patient.

Private practice · Est. 2009
A private surgical practice on Arroyo Terrace. Every plan begins with an unhurried consultation — your anatomy studied, options explained plainly, and the surgeon’s quote put in writing before anything is scheduled.
The practice
Lumière was founded on a simple conviction: the best aesthetic work is the kind no one can name. Our surgeons plan conservatively, operate in our own accredited suite, and follow every patient personally through recovery — because a result should arrive slowly, naturally, and unmistakably as you.

Consultation
Complimentary and unhurried — an hour with a surgeon, never a sales associate.
“The consultation is the procedure that matters most. Everything after it is execution.”
— Lumière Aesthetics, founding principle
Procedures
Six disciplines, practiced daily in our Pasadena suite. Every plan is surgeon-led and priced in writing.

Structural refinement planned to your profile and breathing — never a template nose.
Explore
Deep-plane technique that repositions rather than tightens — rested, not pulled.
Explore
Blepharoplasty that opens the eyes and preserves your natural expression.
Explore
Augmentation, lift, and reduction — sized in the OR with your input beforehand.
Explore
Liposculpture and abdominoplasty performed in our accredited on-site suite.
Explore
Surgeon-planned neuromodulators, fillers, and resurfacing between — or instead of — surgery.
ExploreThe surgeons
No hand-offs, no rotating providers. Four physicians, one standard, every patient followed personally.

Plastic Surgeon
MD, FACS · Fellowship, Aesthetic Surgery
Alan leads our body-contouring practice. Patients describe him the same way his residents did: precise, unhurried, and honest about what surgery can and cannot do.

Plastic Surgeon
MD · Board-Certified, Facial Plastic Surgery
Vivienne’s rhinoplasty and eyelid work is planned in millimeters. She reviews your imaging with you on screen until the plan is yours, not ours.

Aesthetic Physician
MD · Injectables & Skin Health
Camille directs the non-surgical studio — conservative dosing, honest timelines, and a standing rule: if surgery would serve you better, she’ll say so.
A short welcome from the surgeons at Lumière, filmed in the Arroyo Terrace suite.
What to expect
From first conversation to final follow-up, the sequence is the same for every patient.
Choose a time online or by phone. You’ll meet a surgeon — the person who would actually operate — for a full hour.
Imaging, measurements, and an honest conversation about options, limits, and recovery. The written quote follows within a day.
Procedures are performed in our AAAASF-accredited on-site suite with board-certified MD anesthesia.
Your surgeon sees you at every follow-up — day one, week one, and across the year the result settles in.
The reveal
A selection from the case archive — each unveiled the way results should be: slowly, and in good light.

Portraits shown are demo placeholders. In production, publish only consented patient photography, presented unretouched.
In their words
What patients say when the result has had time to settle.
“Dr. Laurent spent an hour with me before anything was scheduled. A year later, people tell me I look rested. No one has ever guessed why.”
“I expected a pitch and got a tutorial instead. The written quote matched the final bill to the dollar, and recovery went exactly as they mapped it.”
“Dr. Marchetti talked me out of a bigger procedure than I needed. That conversation is why I trusted him with the smaller one.”
“The quiet of this place is real — private entrance, one patient at a time in recovery. My follow-ups were with my surgeon, not a rotating staff.”
“Dr. Whitfield was blunt about what lipo would and wouldn’t do for me. The result is exactly what he drew on the imaging, which is all I wanted.”
“Dr. Reyes doses conservatively and books you back in two weeks instead of overfilling on day one. My face still moves. That’s the point.”

Questions
The surgeon you meet at consultation. Lumière surgeons do not hand off cases — the physician who plans your procedure operates, and sees you at every follow-up visit.
Nothing. Consultations at Lumière are complimentary, last about an hour, and carry no obligation. You leave with a written plan and a written quote, honored for 90 days.
In our own accredited surgical suite (demo accreditation), with board-certified MD anesthesiologists. You never pass through a hospital lobby, and recovery begins in a private room on site.
Our planning is deliberately conservative. We aim for results that read as rest, proportion, and time working in your favor — most patients are told they look well, not that they look done.
It depends on the procedure, and we map it honestly at consultation — social downtime, activity limits, and when results settle. You’ll have your surgeon’s direct line for the first two weeks.
Yes. Monthly payment plans are available through third-party medical lenders, and our coordinators arrange approval before your date is booked. Cosmetic procedures are self-pay; reconstructive cases may qualify for insurance.
Often, yes. Our aesthetic physician plans injectables, resurfacing, and skin health programs — and if a non-surgical path serves you better, that is what we will recommend.
A complimentary consultation with a board-certified surgeon — questions answered, plan in writing, nothing rushed.
