Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

No. Most of our clients are at work. We hold keys and codes in a sealed, audited system, the same background-checked team visits every time, and they text you on arrival and departure.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — Opaline Home Cleaning LLC is licensed in South Carolina (SC LIC #HC-2151-84), bonded, and carries $2M in liability coverage. Every team member is an employee, not a contractor, and is background-checked before their first visit.

What if I’m not happy with a clean?

Tell us within 48 hours and we come back to re-clean the missed area free of charge — no forms, no debate. It’s a written guarantee on every visit, and it’s used rarely enough that we can honor it every single time.

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?

Yes, everything — including HEPA-filter vacuums and products matched to your surfaces. If you prefer specific products (or fragrance-free only), we note it on your care sheet and bring those instead.

Can you clean around pets?

Happily — most of our homes have them. Tell us names and temperaments during the walkthrough. Teams are trained on door discipline, and we note gate codes and “don’t let the cat out” rules on the care sheet.

How far in advance should I book?

Recurring clients get a standing slot, so booking once holds it forever. For one-time deep cleans or move-outs, one to two weeks ahead is typical — more in May and August, Charleston’s moving season.
